Katy Wilson graduated from Cal-Poly in 2005 and started her journey at Testarossa as a harvest intern.  From there she commenced an intense tour, going to Torbreck in Australia, Joseph Phelps in Napa Valley, Craggy Range in New Zealand and Flowers on the Sonoma Coast, finally to settle in as associate winemaker at Kamen in Sonoma Valley where she remains today.

Katy never forgot her experience at Flowers and decided to launch her own brand, LaRue, with a 300 case production of gorgeous Pinot Noir from some extremely prestigious vineyards on the Sonoma Coast.

With the initial vintage, Katy is confirmed as one of the best new winemakers in the industry.
