in 1990, Karen and Les Breckenridge planted a 2.5 acre vineyard in an area next to their home in St. Helena with budwood from the famed Bella Oaks vineyard. The Jen-Mar vineyard was born.
Farmed by Jim Barbour, this valley floor site produces just 190 cases of Cabernet annually and this is the wineries first "official" commercial release. Aged in 70% new french oak for 24 months the wine is made by Bruce Devlin and is reminiscent of the Napa Valley classics St. Helena has become known for.
Red currents and cassis, tinged with cedar and graphite this wine delivers, carrying seamlessly across the palate and finishing with firm cleansing tannins.
